Laaksonen was a high powered outside hitter for Vital Volleyball last year and after committing to Western Kentucky and garnering MNVBCA Class AA All-State honors she is making a change. She will join a core group at Minnesota Select where she will be part of a trio of outsides including Amya Jennings Amya Jennings 5’10” | OH Maranatha Christian Academy | 2025 MN and Lily Riese Lily Riese 5’11” | OH Champlin Park | 2024 State MN .
Sayotovich spent her 17’s season on Northern Lights 17-Red and made her verbal commitment to play for Division 3 UW-River Falls. This sets her up to compete in the highly competitive WIAC conference. Her performance in her senior season garnered her recognition with Class AA All Tournament Team and MNVBCA Class AA All-State honors. This winter she will team up with uncommitted setter, Annalise Wilson Annalise Wilson 5’9″ | S New Prague | 2024 State MN , to run a high powered offense for Minnesota Select 18-2.
Wilson had a solid senior season where she helped New Prague to a solid deep postseason run. She was named to the 2023 Class AAAA All Tournament Team. Wilson will be making a change from M1 to play on the MN Select 18-2 squad.
Nordstrom made the change from Hype to Crossfire this season. She can take swings from anywhere on the court and plays a solid six rotation game. Nordstrom has a solid hand contact and gets creative to score points.
Fuller is making her way from Crossfire to Vital Volleyball this season. The foundation of her game is in her passing ability. She is fundamentally sound as she tracks the ball and creates the appropriate angle with her platform.
