About Tove

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I find my place on every team in every situation and love to play 100% of the time. I put in my full effort at all times.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a very upbeat demeanor, and I like to have a good time on the court with my teammates. I work hard and I’m very positive.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received the vice president award at the community college (SPSCC) I am doing running start at.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have done quite a bit of community service and a lot of that is related around volleyball, but some is related to Christian Bible camps as well as other charities I volunteer for.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I started late, and my growth came in my sophomore and junior year. I have definitely had challenges that I have had to overcome, but nothing I couldn’t manage with hard work and grit.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to be somewhere where it is sunny, and would love to play for a coach who is extremely upbeat and positive. That is how and where I thrive.

The junior from Tumwater High School displayed her strong overall game at the SLC Showcase, playing with determination and working hard during drills and six-on-six play. Her athleticism on the pin helped her score with hard swings off the block, and she has touch and accuracy with a roll shot she likes to deliver down the seam. Hugus has a strong build and good size; the 2026 prospect will be an excellent pick-up for a program that needs a skilled and hard-working six-rotation player.
