#13 Jess JakopinChloe Wolf – 2020 – 5’9 – Outside Hitter – Motion 17 Green – Greendale
Wolf is a solid outside for Motion who takes an aggressive approach and hard swing. She can also place a smart roll shot over the block.
Jessica Jakopin – 2020 – 5’10 – Middle Blocker – Columbus Catholic
Jakopin will be an impact player and senior leader for Columbus this fall. When she and her setter get some reps in and get used to each other, she will be a force to reckon with again. Jakopin has a well-timed block, smart tips, and a tricky roll to the deep corner.
Jordan HeinJordan Hein – 2020 – 5’6 – Setter – V-Hawk Xtreme 18 National – Gale-Ettrick -Trempeleau
Hein is smaller, but I really liked how she consistently got her feet to the ball and jump-set as many balls as possible. She gave her hitters a lot of opportunities to terminate and could right now be a solid Division 3 pick-up, so it should be interesting how she can develop in her senior season.
Kaitlyn Coisman – 2020 – 6’0 – Middle Blocker – FC Elite 17 Navy – De Pere
Coisman puts up a huge block with a high reach that gives a lot of hitters issues. She closes the block, gets a lot of touches, and gets the block exactly when her team needs it!
#72 Marissa KlemanMarissa Kleman – 2020 – Outside Hitter/Middle Blocker – V-Hawk Xtreme 18 National – Committed To UW-Milwaukee
Kleman knows just what her team needs and when they need it. She is a great pick-up for UW-Milwaukee, and she has another year to develop before she steps onto campus. Kleman was clutch for V-Hawk in crucial situations during pool play; and when she found an opening, she destroyed it. She can score points down the line, tools the block, places smart tips, and can play all six rotations. Kleman is strong in serve-receive and takes care of the first contact, as well as challenging the opposing team with a wicked low flat float serve that she can also drop short.
McKenzie WinkerMcKenzie Winker – 2019 – Outside Hitter/Middle Blocker – V-Hawk Xtreme 18 National – Committed To Viterbo
Winker plays with intensity and focus. She is a spark for her team with her aggressive swings. Winker is definitely one of V-Hawk’s go-to hitters as she elevates and terminates. Blockers struggle trying to stop Winker. She is a strong server and very solid in serve-receive as a solid six- rotation player.
Olivia Otto – 2020 – 5’10 – Middle Blocker – Motion 17 Green – Watertown
Otto is a spark for her team with a fast swing in the split. She can hit from any zone on the net with a high contact point. Otto works well around the block and knows how to terminate. She is also a strong server and holds her own on defense.
Rachael BohmanRachael Bohlman – 2020 – 5’11 – Right Side Hitter/Setter – FC Elite 17 Navy – Green Bay Southwest
Bohlman is a smart swinging right side hitter who can hit a wicked cut shot from the left pin, as well as a line shot from the right pin. She also sets up a strong block. The best part is that she sets as well, so she would be a great six-rotation player at the next level.
Sydney Strum – 2020 – Libero – 17 ROYAL – Waukesha South
Strum plays really gritty defense and doesn’t let much hit the floor. As the libero, she is quick and athletic to get every tip and a complete kamikaze defensive player.
