With the club season passing the halfway point, the game has been heating up with these Michigan athletes.

In the 2026 class, the illusive June 15th date is on the horizon. A stout class from top to bottom, there are big names very well cemented into place. Meanwhile, there are other huge names making themselves known.

Let's take a look at 5 stock risers in the 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='226882' first='Karis' last='Chatfield'] - Jenison/FaR Out

[player_tooltip player_id='226882' first='Karis' last='Chatfield'] is having one heck of a sophomore year. After a huge splash this fall with Jenison, Chatfield's been the magnum opus of FaR Out's 16 Black crew. She's the complete six rotation player with amazing ball control and about all of the shots in the book. Chatfield is still an underrated name that still warrants some serious attention on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='446691' first='Taliyah' last='Hanks'] - Loy Norrix/Dead Frog

Last year, [player_tooltip player_id='446691' first='Taliyah' last='Hanks'] was the young pup on a promising Dead Frog team full of 2025s. This year, Hanks is still that young kid playing up but there's no way you could tell. At 6'3, Hanks plays the net as agile and physical as they come. She's developing a real intense range of shots as an attacker and her block has become a huge threat. Hanks has played a huge role in Frog's 17 USA Division bid this club season. She'll surely be a huge target for colleges on the 15th.

[player_tooltip player_id='487356' first='Lucy' last='Monahan'] - Bedford/L2

While this player was waiting in the wings on a stacked Bedford squad in the fall, [player_tooltip player_id='487356' first='Lucy' last='Monahan'] has more than made her presence known on L2's 161 team. Just like her high school counterparts, Monahan is an incredible middle blocker that is so athletic. Her ability to hit off of both in front of and behind the setter make her a must-find in the offense. Her block is also quite potent.

[player_tooltip player_id='226906' first='Reagan' last='Lesley'] - Chippewa Valley/Michigan Elite

Last year we saw a lot of [player_tooltip player_id='226906' first='Reagan' last='Lesley'] in the middle for Michigan Elite. Fast forward a year, Lesley has become the go-to pin attacker, all six rotations for 16 Mizuno. With her versatility as a middle, Lesley can be used in tons of situational opportunities which only heighten her ability to score. More so, Lesley has seriously impressed with her first contact as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='226895' first='Jillian' last='Ferrill'] - Lake Fenton/Legacy

While [player_tooltip player_id='226895' first='Jillian' last='Ferrill'] may be on a 2s team, don't be fooled for how skilled this player is. After splitting time as a hitter and setter throughout the bulk of her career, Ferrill has begun to shift her focus solely to her attack and it has paid off huge! In the right or left pin, Ferrill's high contact causes serious issues for opposing defenders.
