Many have already proven to be big on production at the varsity and club levels.

Here's Part 2 of our 2-part look at the shining 2026 stars from Oakland County.

Players listed alphabetically

[player_tooltip player_id='226908' first='Meredith' last='Martin'], DS/L Marian/Legacy

A versatile player that made her name in club play as an elite defender, Martin has been a six-rotation early in her prep career with Orchard Lake St. Mary's. Now with Marian, Martin can continue to showcase her all-around skill. Her defensive form is very smooth and technically sound, plus she's got a lot of competitive fire.

[player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'], MH Bloomfield Hills/Legacy

A top prospect in the nation for this class, Nwabueze is as explosive a middle as you can find. At 6'2”, she still shows the agility of a 5'9” outside hitter. She's quick, she flies off the floor, she generates big power, and she can defend. Her game just keeps getting better and better.

[player_tooltip player_id='261199' first='Morgin' last='Parsley'], S/RS Walled Lake Northern/Legacy

Parsley has been a player flying under the radar, but deserves the spotlight. She's an impressive setter/hitter combo that rises to the occasion time and again. Parsley is a good natural athlete that makes a lot of impressive plays on her instincts alone. She does that while improving on her technique in all areas. She's set to be a breakout player next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='226935' first='Lucy' last='Stoll'], S South Lyon/Michigan Elite

Stoll brings a lot of energy to the floor and plays like a veteran despite being an underclassman. She's got great touch on her sets and reads the court very well. She's played against some solid blockers, but been able to get great swings out of her hitters and elevate the rest of her teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='226937' first='Mallory' last='Stoy'], DS/L Novi/Michigan Elite

Novi is no stranger to great defenders, and Stoy is on her way to being added to that list. She's an energy player that stays light on her feet and hits her spots well. Her serve receive is technically sound and she is able to shake off a mistake quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='226942' first='Ashley' last='Verhey'], MH/OH Milford/Legacy

Verhey can play anywhere along the net, but has been shining as a right side this club season due to her powerful left-handed swing. Verhey shows a lot of consistency in her velocity and attack angles, and her intensity has picked up in the last year as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='226944' first='Maya' last='Zarow'], OH Mercy/Michigan Elite

Zarow was an unsung hero for Mercy this fall as she helped the Marlins win a state title. She wasn't always the featured hitter, but she often times came through with a big kill in a tight set. Zarow can generate a lot of pop on the ball and shows a lot of competitiveness on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='226945' first='Jayla' last='Zayti'], MH Marian/Michigan Elite

Zayti is someone that grew a lot as a player as the prep season went on. She was up against a lot of great middles and had to quickly improve. Once she hit that next gear, she was one of the fiercest finishers in the class. Zayti can put down the ball in a flash, as she's got a fast arm and a quick approach.
