About Isabella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My name is Izzi Sohl and I am a setter in the class of 2026 committed to UConn!! I go to Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Mo. I am a strong student athlete who loves to compete!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am extremely competitive and love to take leadership on the court. I run an aggressive offense and take pride in my descision making as a setter.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Spanish Honors Society, National Honors Society, Academic All State, Fellowship or Christian Athletes

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I go on an annual mission trip through an organization called Casas Por Cristo which builds houses for families in poverty in Central America. I am passionate about helping those who are less fortunate. I have developed leadership through babysitting and stepping into a leadership role as a lifeguard at a local pool whereI was able to develop more skills and responsibilities.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am committed to the University of Connecticut and it is everything I had been hoping for!
