The Hoosier State is sending 13 teams to GJNC's in Las Vegas in July. Oddly enough, each team is the only representative from Indiana in each of their respective divisions. Today's edition talks about 17 Open, and what players to watch in Vegas.

The top 17s team at Circle has had an epic year. Nearly the entire roster has already committed to play ball at the next level, and with good reason. Primary passing outside [player_tooltip player_id='152943' first='Logan' last='Bell'] ('25, 5-10 OH, Roncalli, Oregon commit) is the main attacker for this squad, and is about as complete a volleyball player as you can find in Indiana. She's equally talented in both indoor and outdoor disciplines, and is currently in the gym with the U19 squad. [player_tooltip player_id='173239' first='Avery' last='Freeman'] ('25, 5-4 DS/L, Bloomington North, Indiana commit) has been the libero for the majority of the season, and it was fun to watch her put balls away from the left pin this past weekend in Milwaukee while Logan was out. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='172759' first='Ava' last='Hunter'] ('25, 5-10 S, Hamilton Southeastern, Loyola-Chicago commit) has two state title trophies on her mantle, and will be a major part of HSE's possible run to three consecutive titles.

But what about the uncommitted? Look no further than [player_tooltip player_id='173244' first='Eva' last='Hurrle'] ('25, 5-7 DS/L, Roncalli) and [player_tooltip player_id='152932' first='Bella' last='Dafforn'] ('25, 5-4 DS/L, Lawrence North). Eva is a three-sport stud that screams gym rat with relentless effort and a constant positive attitude. Her platform is solid and consistent and always finds herself around the ball. Bella was in relative obscurity just two short seasons ago, and now finds herself on the top 17s team playing an open-level schedule and holding her own, thankyouverymuch. Smooth and unassuming, she's more than capable of wearing the special jersey as well, just like she does for her high school squad.
