JETTA BRENNING - S | Mintonette As 5'10 lefty, Brenning is a crafty setter. The combination of her athleticism, setting tools, and ability to call her own number at the net on the second touch can create challenges for opposing defenses. She is good at developing a deceptive move that can open up space for her hitters through both pins. Her quickness and ability to get up well creates good net defense for her also. The St. Louis commit and her team will compete in the 17 National division.   ELLA GOETZ - OH/MB | NKYVC Goetz is an athletic and versatile prospect that will do what she needs for her team. The NDA product played primarily as a utility for this team a season ago but has seen more consistent opportunity at the left pin this club season following a vacancy in their rotation due to injury. At 5'9, she can get off the floor well with quickness and good explosion at the end of her approach pattern to get a healthy swing. Goetz is currently uncommitted. Look for this squad in the 17 National division.   KAYLA CHANNELL - MB | AVC Another 17 National qualifier, AVC's top 17U team has some of Ohio's best prospects. This has contributed to Channell's ability to contribute offensively from the middle position given the variation and distribution that is available across the net for this group. She works hard to get herself available with good footwork. The uncommitted Channell uses her 6'2 frame and high touch point to her advantage as her arm control and aggressiveness have helped her to be more consistent in her power production as well as her ability to move the ball around.   RYLIE SIMONS - S | Infinity A 2026 prospect, Simons helped lead this team to a 17 USA qualification with a 5th place finish at MEQ earlier this season. The setter entered the club season after a terrific high school campaign in 2023 as she was named the AAC's Player of the Year. At 5'5, she can do it all for her team in setting a steady offense, contributing defensively, and by applying good pressure at the service line.   KENNEDY CALDWELL - OH | Infinity The 5'9 Caldwell is a steady option for this team that will compete in the 17 USA division. Her vision and awareness at the net helps highlight what she can do to with her arm to move the ball around at the point of contact. Caldwell can drive the ball well to deep zones of the floor and can also create some good pace to put the ball down when she finds room between or around the block. She's a smart and effective attacker as evidenced by her career high 330 kills and career best .233 efficiency for Champion over the 2023 high school season.
