Hatton has verbally committed to the University of Arizona. The future Wildcat is currently ranked No. 14 overall and is the second-ranked libero in the Kansas Class of 2025. Hatton has produced back-to-back seasons with 350-plus digs. She is 130 digs away from joining the 1,000-dig club.
Jaidyn Follis Jaidyn Follis 5'5" | S Beloit | 2025 State KS , 5’5”, S, Beloit, ‘25
Follis is an athletic setter I look forward to seeing her play this week in Abilene. She is just short of 2,000 career assists heading into her senior season. She is a born leader and the backbone of a Beloit squad with two committed college athletes and poised to make a run at a state title. Follis is currently ranked No. 37 overall by Prep Dig.
Carly Hutfles Carly Hutfles 5'10" | OH Horton | 2025 State KS , 5’10”, OH, Horton, ‘25
Hutfles is an athlete I have yet to see play in person, but keep hearing about. The Horton Chargers play in a Wednesday summer league at Nemaha Central and I hope to get her to compete in early July. She finished her junior season with 336 kills and 37 total blocks in 77 sets.
Ayla Johnson Ayla Johnson 5'8" | MB Clay Center | 2025 State KS , 5’8”, MB, Clay Center, ‘25
Clay Center is another team scheduled to compete in the Abilene Tournament. Johnson was among the leaders in blocks in Kansas last season. She accumulated 88 total blocks and 281 kills for the Tigers. I look forward to seeing how she jumps and to get a solid look at her in person.

, 5’9”, DS/L, Blue Valley Southwest, ‘25
Tingey is listed as a defensive specialist in the Prep Dig rankings, but apparently, she is a “jack-of-all-trades.” She finished her junior season with 220 kills, 229 digs, and 434 serve receptions in 90 sets played. She is currently ranked No. 84 in the class of 2025 rankings and appears poised to climb the ladder a few rungs.
