The Class of 2027 has a lot of talent that have been doing big things on the national scene during the club season.

While some of them still have yet to get a chance to shine on the prep level, those days are soon approaching with the 2024 season not far off.

We have 20 players ranked in the Class of 2027, but the Watch List is full of players that could go on to reach the next level.

Here's a look at a handful of those Watch List players and what they are bringing to the court.

Players listed alphabetically

[player_tooltip player_id='460587' first='Bridget' last='Boughton'], S Lakeland/L2

Boughton has worked hard this past club season on improving her locations. As she's been more consistent with her accuracy, it has allowed her to mix up the offense more frequently. Boughton is very agile on the court, which allows her to make some difficult plays. She's been able to push the tempo and raise the game of the hitters around her.

[player_tooltip player_id='490371' first='Brooklyn' last='Brassard'], OH Mattawan/FaR Out

Brassard doesn't have the length of some of the hitters in this class, but the 5'7” outside shows a lot of explosiveness on the court. Because of that, she's able to make her attacks look pretty effortless while still putting good velocity on the ball. She looks very comfortable on the court and puts herself in good position to succeed at the net. Defensively, Brassard also covers a lot of ground and has promising first contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='454360' first='Rease' last='Buza'], OH/DS Eisenhower/Revolution

Buza is coming off an impressive freshman year with Eisenhower where she was one of the leaders when it came to serve receive. This club season, she has pushed herself to another level as a hitter, getting an opportunity to take on some swings with Revolution's 17U squad. Buza is still developing her timing and syncing up her power swings, but she shows good awareness to make the best play possible at the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='490372' first='Piper' last='Cebulski'], S/RS GR Christian/FaR Out

A 6'2” combo player makes Cebulski a very promising prospect at the next level. Her size and length is a big asset. As a setter, she's running a very up tempo offense and she's developed some very quick connections with her teammates. As a hitter, Cebulski plays well above the net and can deliver an attack that comes down at a sharp angle.

[player_tooltip player_id='490373' first='Kate' last='Colosky'], MH Portage Central/FaR Out

A 6-foot middle from an impressive Portage Central team, Colosky just adds to the overall athleticism of the team at the net. She is able to hang in the air and high point the ball to be a big presence offensively. Defensively, she works hard to make the life of the opposing hitters difficult and she's able to win those tough battles to finish points.

[player_tooltip player_id='523853' first='Camyla' last='Copelin'], S Lakewood/MVA

Copelin is a setter that is well-coached and has really good defensive instincts to supplement her play. Copelin is able to place a smooth ball to the pins and get a lot of aggressive swings out of her teammates. She reads the floor well and does a good job to keep the offense ahead of the defense. She also backs up her hitters well from a defensive standpoint and isn't afraid to take some bumps and bruises on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='490375' first='Cara' last='Crittendon'], MH Byron Center/FaR Out

Crittendon has battled some tough middles over the last year and it has helped bring her game to another level. She's showing the ability to make good choices, but is working to execute her intentions at a more consistent rate. Her agility and athleticism should allow her to improve by leaps and bounds over the next couple of years.

[player_tooltip player_id='291173' first='Brynn' last='DeGlee'], OH/MH Hanover Horton/Team Pineapple

DeGlee is a versatile player that can play anywhere along the net. She anticipates the ball well to come down over the top with a lot of power and velocity. DeGlee times things up well in the middle, but has the athleticism to cover a lot of ground on the pins as well. She's got a lot of spring in her take off and isn't lacking in confidence in her attacks.
