<p>With the start of the high school season already underway and the first matches scheduled for next Thursday, now is the perfect time to take a look at some of the players who might make an impact this fall as freshmen.</p> <p>While Prep Dig doesn't focus on club volleyball players in the 14s age group - where a vast majority of the incoming freshmen play - until the national championships, there are always a few that catch our eye during that time frame or while playing with their high school teams in the summer leagues and camps.</p> <p>This freshman watch list is not meant to be a list of the BEST freshmen, because we obviously haven't had a chance to see a large number of them and because it is very difficult to try and rank kids until you get to see them play against older competition. </p> <p>Also, remember that this watch list will be updated periodically during the upcoming high school season as we get a chance to get out and see more players.
