–

We're deep into the summer and coming up on the next fall season!

The past 2 months have been huge for several prospects in the 2026 and 2025 classes. With commitments left and right being announced from across the country, the studs out of Michigan have been becoming more and more prevalent in these recent announcements.

It's been awhile since we've covered our last commitment radar report, it's time to update you all on the most recent commitments. Take a look below!

[player_tooltip player_id='226897' first='Charlotte' last='Gramzow'] to Northern Illinois

5'10 L - Lutheran Northwest/Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='226897' first='Charlotte' last='Gramzow'] has really emerged as one of the top defensive prospects in the midwest. With her long, lengthy stature, Gramzow's ability to cover the court the way she does has caught a lot of attention. Not going too far from home, Gramzow is ready for some MACtion. Joining the Northern Illinois huskies, this is a program under a bit of a reboot with a recent coaching change. A pick up like Gramzow is surely a great start in the right direction for this program.

Gramzow will also join as another Michigan Elite Alum to compete for the Huskies after 2021 grad Charli Atiemo.

[player_tooltip player_id='473954' first='Ava' last='Barnes'] to <s>Davenport</s> Indiana Wesleyan

5'10 S - Brown City/Legacy

A change of plans is never a bad thing. Originally committed to Davenport University, S [player_tooltip player_id='473954' first='Ava' last='Barnes'] has recently announced her decision to recommit to Indiana Wesleyan. This is not a bad switch up either for both parties. IWU is coming off of a perfect 38-0 season, winning the 2023 NAIA National Championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'] to Harvard

6'2 MB - Bloomfield Hills/Legacy

This may or may not be the biggest steal of the 2026 class. [player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'] to the IVY League was not exactly on my bingo card, but you love to see it, regardless. Nwabueze has cemented herself as one of the top prospects nationally. Nwabueze is absolutely electric on the court. From her arm speed to her suffocating blocking, she is a game changer at any program she chooses.

[player_tooltip player_id='446702' first='Elise' last='Hiemstra'] to Columbia

5'10 UT - Detroit Country Day/Legacy

From one IVY League bound player to the next, [player_tooltip player_id='446702' first='Elise' last='Hiemstra'] has had one heck of a sophomore year. From being the "who's this player" on Legacy's 16-1 Adidas roster over a year ago to now being one of the first committed players in her class. Hiemstra shows her smarts on the court with her ability to morph into about any position needed. That was her big role throughout the club season. I'll be curious to watch her career unfold throughout the next few years.

Alongside Nwabueze, Hiemstra marks another highly touted player out of the Legacy cannon to opt for the IVY league route, following 2023 grad, Laurece Abraham (Yale).

[player_tooltip player_id='523816' first='Riley' last='Copenhaver'] to Duke

6'1 MB - Brighton/Legacy

Nobody quite popped off of the page quite like [player_tooltip player_id='523816' first='Riley' last='Copenhaver'] did this year. After a quiet fall with Brighton, Copenhaver just kept turning heads time and time again throughout the club season. A player that oozes athleticism and moves so fast, this middle was virtually unstoppable at times. The Duke Blue Devils have been on the rise with a slew of top recruiting classes, Copenhaver just adds to the mix.

Copenhaver marks yet another prospect out of the Mitten to find her landing spot down in the Carolinas. She'll join fellow 2026s, [player_tooltip player_id='226904' first='Emma' last='Keeping'] (Wake Forest) & [player_tooltip player_id='226888' first='Aubree' last='Deshetsky'] (Wofford).
