Here are the top five 2027 prospects as of the first rankings for this class.

#1 [player_tooltip player_id='480840' first='Kyla' last='Williams']

Williams is flat out good. Her presence alone is tangible given her height, length, skills, and competitive swag. At 6'4, she showed dominance often with her movement and touch point to be able to score through a variety of options at the net. Add in her blocking prowess and ability to take up a lot of space at the tape and you have someone that already is being identified as an elite prospect for the next level. Gilmour Academy will be one to watch this fall season with her activity and impact.

#2 [player_tooltip player_id='434971' first='Jillian' last='Forrest']

Forrest (*pictured) has one of the best arms and is a physical athlete in the middle. Her movement around her setter offensively and between the pins on the defensive side is among the best in this class. The Ursuline product should make a big impact this coming high school season in the tough GGCL. Over the course of the club season she showed expanded range with her ability to score on the pins to go along with her big arm through quicker middle-tempo options. She averaged just ahead of one kill per set last fall while finishing top-10 in the league in total blocks.

#3 [player_tooltip player_id='480860' first='Isabella' last='Borgio']

The 5'11 Borgio gets the early nod as the top-rated pin hitter in this class. She has a complete skill set but what stands out is her torque in the air and the arm speed and range she can score through at the net. Her movement is fluid and she closes well to help her maximize her contact point, which is followed by big pace. As this class has a few really good six-rotation pins, the Calvert product has great tools in the first-contact phase that allows her to contribute in a variety of ways.

#4 [player_tooltip player_id='480801' first='Savanna' last='Stacey']

Stacey has been high on the radar in this class since her first-year season for McNicholas last fall, in which she was a key catalyst to their deep postseason run. One of a handful of young returners this fall for this program, she will likely get a lot of opportunities to score and rightfully so given her tools and success from 2023 as a 1st team all-league selection and her runner-up finish individually offensively. Her length benefits her in her passing game and defense while helping her to contact high offensively where she can score with a good combination of power and movement.

#5 [player_tooltip player_id='480861' first='Bryn' last='Meyer']

This is a rangy athlete with her length at 6'2 and ability to terminate well from both sides of the court. Meyer uses her physical tools well to get up well over the net and she shows good command of her arm to be able to swing with good range. What is highly impressive is her passing and defensive tools that can impact a match. She can cover a lot of the court while also showing quickness in her reaction and pursuit of the ball to make big plays in all directions. Another Calvert product, the tandem of Meyer and Borgio will be one to keep an eye on throughout the fall high school season.
