For Kaydence, Juneteenth holds a special place in her heart because of her Texas roots and the traditions her family has shared for years.

She grew up learning about the history of Juneteenth and celebrating it with her community, making the holiday both meaningful and personal. Kaydence credits her mother as her biggest inspiration, admiring the way she pushes her to be great while always providing support and encouragement. She also looks up to Serena Williams, whose work ethic and success continue to motivate her.

In volleyball, Kaydence is focused on strength training and plyometrics to improve her vertical and elevate her game. Beyond athletics, she hopes to become a lawyer and is already taking steps toward that goal through debate in high school, excited for the opportunities that lie ahead.

Fresh off earning MVP honors for the Mojave High JV squad, Kaydence brings versatility that’s rare for her age. She held down both middle and outside roles this season, showing she can score from anywhere.
