CPS Schools Missing from Lyon Invite: What’s Next for CPS Young and Payton?

<p>It didn't feel right as you look at the LTHS Fieldhouse and witness six teams playing their hearts out. One court, no net, just parent's playing amateur photographer shooting matches. It doesn't seem fair.</p> <p>Both Whitney Young and Payton High School from Chicago missed out on an opportunity to play tough competition and prepare for states. It's bad enough to play through your sectional, regional, etc. but know the only way to even have that opportunity is to get some off-court help from the mayor and the teachers that are out on strike.  </p> <p>Or, maybe get some in-court help in the form of our court system. That seems unlikely. Unlike football,, there doesn't seem to have a loophole in the IHSA rulebook to find a  way for women's volleyball teams to play come next week. unless...</p> <p><strong>Can someone compromise, please?
