Left handed utility player specializing in libero/ds positions. Hedges, according to MaxPrep, class of 2028 as a sophomore, found her in Missouri class 5 ranked 4th in aces with 61 in 286 attempts for an impressive 21% completion. She also scored 6th in the “digs” category with 356 for an average of 4 digs per set. Both of these accomplishments were also Fort Osage High School records.

Defenders stood out to me more due to the number of players in attendance, and Hedges had a good day. She was vocal in the back row and one of the top passers in the gym. She produced a solid platform in the passing game and made it easy for the setter to dish the ball. On defense, I thought she was equally impressive in keeping balls off the floor and taking away cross-court shots.
