Signing Update: Kazee signs with South Alabama

<p>After leading Tates Creek throughout her high school senior season, outside hitter Hannah Kazee is headed to the next level. Kazee signed with the University of South Alabama volleyball program today.</p> <p>Among the top high school volleyball players in Lexington, Kazee recorded 481 kills, 42 blocks, 268 digs and 47 aces for Tates Creek during her senior season. The productive Kazee averaged 4.81 kills per match for the Commodores. </p> <p>As a junior in 2018, Kazee helped to lead Tates Creek to runner-up finishes in both the 43rd District and 11th Region. </p> <p>Tates Creek concluded the 2019 season 25-9 after finishing as the 43rd District runner-up and making an appearance in the 11th Region Volleyball Tournament. Henry Clay eliminated Tates Creek from the postseason, shutting out the Commodores 3-0 (26-24, 25-22, 25-13).</p> <p>South Alabama competes with Coastal Carolina, Troy, Appalachian State, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Texas State, Louisiana, UTA, Arkansas State, Little Rock and ULM in the Sun Belt Conference. </p>
