Pacific Indians 17-5-1

You'd have to return to 1956 to find Pacific winning the Hermann Volleyball Tournament. But this year's team broke the 68-year curse and brought home the title. In pool play, they would sweep New Haven, Owensville, and St. Louis Christian Academy. In the semifinals, they would knock off Borgia, who's won the Hermann Tournament the most, 25-21, 25-19, and this would send them to the final against the host Hermann Bearcats. The win over Borgia was a redemption match as Borgia beat Pacific two weeks ago in 5. In the championship match, they would need extra points to win the title with the scores of 29-27 and 25-20. [player_tooltip player_id='170037' first='Caroline' last='Tomlinson'], [player_tooltip player_id='170039' first='Kaitlin' last='Payne'], and [player_tooltip player_id='540292' first='Kaitlyn' last='Hanger'] led the offense during the championship run.
