In addition to Sacred Heart, Eisert (5-8) played for the Kentucky Indiana Volleyball Academy (KIVA). During her time taking the floor for the KIVA 18 Red team, Eisert’s squad placed fifth, third on two occasions and second in Gold at the AAU Volleyball National Championships. Eisert received the AAU All-American Award.
In her final prep season at Sacred Heart, Eisert was named to the 27th District and 7th Region All-Tournament Teams and honored as an AVCA All-American. She reached the 1,000 assists mark in her high school career as a senior.
Mingus competed for KIVA as well. Her team placed third at the AAU Volleyball National Championships in both 2018 and 2019.
Mingus played for Assumption in back-to-back state title seasons (2018, 2019). She was a member of the 2018 Assumption team which was crowned the national champion. Mingus was named to the All-State Academic Team in 2018.
In addition to Eisert and Mingus, Middle Tennessee State signed outside hitter Ally Hall (Suwannee, Ga.), defensive specialist Megan Turner (Knoxville, Tenn.) and middle blocker Amelia Van Der Werff (Leavenworth, Kan.) on the 2019 National Signing Day.
Middle Tennessee State competes with Western Kentucky, Rice, North Texas, Marshall, Florida Atlantic, UTSA, UTEP, Charlotte, UAB, Louisiana Tech, Florida International and Southern Miss in Conference USA.
