About Lesli

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a volleyball player, I would describe my gameplay style as dynamic and strategic. I focus on maintaining strong communication with my teammates, ensuring we’re always in sync. I emphasize quick reactions, adaptability, and positioning, whether I’m on defense or offense. I’m committed to consistency, whether serving, passing, or spiking, and I always aim to stay calm under pressure, making sure

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is to never give up on the ball and to never show your face expressions even when playing a bad game. I value this one a lot because with just one facial expression the whole team could go down with you.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in a 17u club this year. I have received an award for best defensive player in my first year in high school. Then I also received a defensive and offensive hitter my second year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The skills I have aquired coming out of my high school team is definitely leadership and better teamwork. This team has taught me about how to take charge even when we are down. As for teamwork I have learned how to better my teamwork and communication.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the many challenges I have faced this year is playing in tournaments when my team is down. I find this the most difficult one because as soon as one person is down everyone else will go down with you. I had to learn to put a smile on face and fake it till I make it.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with not only good sports but good Academics as well.
