<p>Division 1 playoffs started last night, and it was a wild ride! There were a number of upsets, some 5-set thrillers, and some absolutely dominant performances. Let's take a look at a few athletes who had stand-out nights in the first round of regionals. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Reagan started her night off by serving a full set, leading her Nicolet team to a 25-0 win over Milwaukee Arts. Reagan has had a dominant season and is a huge leader for this Nicolet team. Reagan is both a physical and mental leader on this talented team. They will take on Wauwatosa West in the next round of Regionals. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Anya was electric in Homestead's 3-1 absolute battle of a win over Cedarburg. She had 18 kills and hit 0.447. She also contributed 35 assists and 21 digs. Anya ran the show for Homestead and gave so many of her hitters great looks, with at least two other hitters with double-digit kills. Homestead will take on Slinger in the next round of Regionals!</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Molly was a huge contributor for Brookfield Central's sweep over Kettle Moraine. She had 6 kills on 14 attempts. She also led her team with 4 aces. Molly also contributed 17 digs and 8 assists. Molly played an all-around solid game and was everything her team needed her to be in the sweep to head to the next round of Regionals, where they will match up with Pewaukee.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Sophia was an offensive weapon for Waukesha North last night. She had 20 kills and hit 0.381. Her efficiency was next level as she dominated at the net. Sophia also had 2 blocks and 9 digs to round out her dominant night. Waukesha North is set to take on Hamilton in the next round of playoffs. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lucy was a huge performer in Oak Creek's sweep over Racine Horlick. She had 11 kills and hit 0.400. Oak Creek had an absolutely dominant performance as a team and Lucy really kept the offense moving. She was reliable and explosive and also contributed a block. They will take on Racine Case in the next round of playoffs. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Izy contributed in numerous ways in the D.C. Everest 4-set win over Superior. She logged 8 blocks a crazy impressive number. She also had 6 kills, hitting 0.333, 2 aces, and 4 digs. Her ability to step up as a senior leader was paramount to their win. They will face off against Marshfield on Saturday in round 2 of playoffs. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Mckenzie was a leader in the back row for Onalaska's upset sweep over LaCrosse Central. She contributed 18 digs and 21 service receptions as well as 2 aces and an assist. Mckenzie was all over the court and did a great job controlling the first contact for her team. They will take on #1 ranked Middleton in their next playoff matchup. </p>
