<p>The consensus in the preseason was that the league title would come down to the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans and the defending champion Shawnee Indians. That turned out to be the case with Ottawa-Glandorf winning that battle 3-1 (21-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-18).</p>

<p>Ottawa-Glandorf (18-6) just won a Division V district championship and takes on Archbold in the region semifinals on Thursday at 8 p.m. at Elida. Junior 6-1 University of Dayton commit [player_tooltip player_id='227620' first='Sienna' last='Fry'] earned the league player of the year honors after recording 325 kills and 115 digs. Teammates Addy Bellman and Kaitlyn Kimmet made the second team and Madison Mckee made honorable mention.</p>

<p>Shawnee (19-6) is also still alive in Division III after the Indians won the district championship. The Indians take on Toledo St. Ursula in the region semifinals at 8 p.m. in Norwalk on Thursday. Karleigh Hutchins made the first team as expected. Teammates [player_tooltip player_id='721295' first='Gianna' last='Upshaw'] made the second team and Maggie Jordan made the third team with Addie Kriegel making honorable mention.</p>

<p>Defiance and Celina tied for third at 6-3 in league play. Karleigh Hoffman made the first team for Defiance with teammates Ella Westrick and Isabella Rowlison making the second and third teams, respectively, and Piper Hampton making honorable mention.</p>

<p>Celina wound up struggling outside the WBL, but managed to put together another respectable season in the league. Senior middle blocker Mylee Sapp made the WBL first team and setter Haley Kizer made the second team with Kira Bange making honorable mention.</p>

<p>Kenton (17-6) finished higher than anticipated in the standings at 5-4 in league play. [player_tooltip player_id='176100' first='Sadie' last='Larrabee'] made the first team all-league for the Wildcats and Morgan Lyons made the second team. Macee Heckathorn made the third team all-league and Cailyn Hopkins made honorable mention.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Fry (pictured) is an amazing athlete and the Titans have done what they can to take advantage of it. Balls come off her hands like darts. She may look one way, then send it another way. Fry can smack balls in the middle and from the pins. Fry also controls the net defensively with her size. Fry doubles up with teammates and times balls well forming solid blocks. Fry also makes crisp passes defensively. Fry has 325 kills and 115 digs on the season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Hutchins is a versatile player that makes things happen all over the court. She can be used as an outside, middle hitter or setter. Hutchins delivers at all six positions on the court. Hutchins sets up her hitters nicely and delivers clean first contacts. Hutchins has 262 kills, 53 aces, 191 digs and 390 assists on the season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Hoffman has solid approaches to the net and delivers for the Bulldogs. She can make quick adjustments on out of system passes and angle balls away from defenders. Hoffman also provides a presence on first contacts and serving. Hoffman finished the season with 431 kills, 41 aces and 249 digs.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Sapp did what she could to consistently dominate the net for the Bulldogs. She is tough on the quicks placing balls well. Then as a blocker, Sapp consistently times balls keeping them on the other side. Sapp also grew as a passer this season. Sapp finished her senior season with 282 kills, 39 assisted blocks, 15 solo blocks and 133 digs.</p>

<p>Larrabee proved to be a big reason why the Wildcats moved up in the WBL standings. She does a great job smacking down balls to different parts of the court and has amazing timing on her blocks. Larrabee also brings a lot to the table with her passing. Larrabee finished the season with 284 kills, 111 solo blocks and 212 digs.</p>
