The 900 Club: Class of 2025 Assist Leaders

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Yesterday, I featured kill leaders from the Kansas Class of 2025, today I would like to shine the spotlight on setters in the Class of 2025.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is an unofficial list, as not all teams post stats publicly. Stats for this report were located at Max Preps.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Each member of this list finished with at least 900 assists during their senior season. It also should not come as a surprise that each of these setters' high school teams made it to a state tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='659546' first='Hallie' last='Holthaus']</strong>, 5'7”, S, Nemaha Central, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Holthaus finished her senior season with 1,064 assists to unofficially lead all Kansas senior setters. She is ranked No. 44 overall by Prep Dig and has committed to play for Highland Community College. She ran the Thunder's offense which finished second at the Class 3A State Tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='697322' first='Graci' last='Murphy']</strong>, 5'4”, S, Girard, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Murphy is ranked No. 85 overall by Prep Dig. She recorded 1,045 assists in 99 sets played. She helped lead Girard to the Class 3A State Tournament. To my knowledge she is uncommitted.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='493498' first='Jaidyn' last='Follis']</strong>, 5'5”, S, Beloit, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Beloit's Follis finished her senior campaign with 1,005 assists in 95 sets. She is ranked No. 68 overall by Prep Dig and to my knowledge is still uncommitted. She helped lead Beloit to back-to-back Class 3A State Tournaments.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='173401' first='Dalaina' last='Schutte']</strong>, 5'9”, S, Halstead, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Schutte is ranked No. 50 overall and has committed to Bethel. She collected 972 assists in 95 sets. She and the Halstead Dragons won the Class 3A State Championship.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Janae Crimmins</strong>, 5'9”, S, Clay Center, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Crimmins recorded 967 for the Tigers. She is an unranked prospect who to my knowledge is uncommitted. She helped Clay Center qualify for the Class 4A State Tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='493422' first='Lauren' last='Heinz']</strong>, 5'7”, S, Andover, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Heinz is ranked No. 67 overall by Prep Dig and is an uncommitted prospect. She finished her senior season with 955 assists and helped Andover qualify for the Class 5A State Tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
