Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a huge communicator when it comes to volleyball; from asking for setting preferences to encouraging teammates. I am extremely court aware and strategic.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to have the memory of a goldfish. If I set a bad ball, I have to shake it off, forget about it, and keep pushing forward. Also, I always try to remember that a setter is like the quarterback of the team, so I need to take charge and be a leader. For personality, I am known for being a smiley and encouraging player. I always make sure that each person is feeling encouraged!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

School: I am a part of Unified, Unified Basketball team, Student Congress, and Cancer Kids First.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the past couple of years playing volleyball, I have learned to be a team player no matter the situation. As a setter, I have learned to be a leader and a communicator.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had a severe ankle injury over the spring and summer of 2024. I was in a boot and was using crutches for a significant amount of time. I had to be in PT for a couple of months. This was the time period with which many are getting ready for school tryouts. I had to persevere and make my way through the injury, so I would be able to participate in school tryouts. I ended up making JV.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a good atmosphere and is highly academic. I would prefer a bigger sized school with many classes for different careers.
