Houston Top 250 Expo Most Valuable Players Vol 1

We are now underway with our awesome series of showcases across the country. Up next was our Houston Top 250 Expo at the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] Volleyball club practice facility in Spring, TX. This series of articles is to highlight those players who earned an award from our court coaches and scouts that were in attendance. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed. Without further ado, here are a few players who were named Most Valuable Players and Top Performers at the showcase.    Briana is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. With what we saw at the Expo, she will definitely be in the running the next time I update them. She plays volleyball at Rosehill Christian High School and plays club for the [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] volleyball program. Miss Isham put on a display out of the middle that was just flat out dominant on both ends. From the start of the event, her power, form, and technique was on full display in the individual drills. I loved everything I saw from her during the entire two hours. She drives insanely hard toward her setter to make sure that she is on time for a super fast tempo set out of the middle. Her court coaches mentioned how positive she was in every drill and that says a lot about her character. I had the opportunity to interview her and was very impressed with her demeanor in handling the questions with poise. She is definitely a player that we will be keeping our eye on this club season and you should also. In the meantime, please help us congratulate her on earning a Most Valuable Player award and a Top Performer award at the Expo.     Sasha is currently listed as the 76th best overall prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Waller High School and club for the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] volleyball program. Miss Keys is one of those rare super athletic players who can literally do it all on the court. I have seen her last year be elite on the pins due to her amazing ability to get off of the ground super fast. She can sky with the best of them and contort her body when needed to hit around the block with both power and finesse. If there is ever an overpass and she is at the net with no one in front of her, the ball with be bounced for a kill for sure. She is making the move to be a full-time setter this year and you can see the hunger in her eyes. I spoke with TAV director and super coach Ray Hedden who mentioned just how proud of the work that she has been putting in the gym to make the position change. What I saw from her at the Expo showed me that she has every chance to stay in the rankings in a different position during the next update. Her hands are extremely soft and her location is getting scary good. I loved what I saw in her footwork as she chased down passes and was in a perfect position to deliver it to her attackers. This kid deserves many looks from college coaches, so I strongly encourage you to put her name down. You will not regret it. Sydney is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is listed on our official Watch List. She plays volleyball at Kingwood High School and club for the Allegiance volleyball program. Miss Baur was one of the best liberos in the gym on Sunday during the Expo. Her court vision and quickness to the ball was very noticeable by all of our staff. Each of our scouts had mentioned her name to me as a person to watch. When I made my way over to her court, I could easily see why. She had her head on a swivel and had a laser focus on the server and thee attacker. It almost seemed as if she had an extra gear that she would turn on during intense moments. I love when defensive players have that attitude. Any coach who has her on their team will be proud and assured that their team will have a fighting chance to compete on every rally. This was not our first time seeing her at one of our events and we hope it is not our last. I love when athletes raise some eyebrows and turn heads with their performance, because it just shows you that some players really step up when the lights shine the brightest. Syd did just that on Sunday. Please help me congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this Expo.
