Meet the New Faces in PD Nevada’s 2025 Rankings – Vol. 2

We saw hundreds of players, including familiar faces and some new stars who caught our attention after seeing them in-person. Not only is she technically sound with clean hands and excellent ball placement, but she is also very aggressive both offensively and defensively. She ranked #4 in the state for assists and also contributed significantly with blocks and digs. She didn't just rack up assists; she dominated in every aspect of the game. The senior setter went out in style her final season, putting up big numbers in several areas of the game. What really sets Ray apart is her graceful setting combined with her strength, aggressiveness, and non-stop hustle. She's basically a two-in-one player—handling the setting duties like a pro while also being a top-tier defender. She racked up nearly 300 assists while also putting up strong numbers in several other skill categories. She was a huge part of Foothill's run to the 5A Southern Region Finals, showcasing her skills as both a setter and a key defender. Not only does she have great hands when setting up plays, but she also works hard in right-back defense. She made an immediate impact, finishing in the top 25 for assists in the state with an average of about 3.8 assists per set. Even though it was her first year on varsity, the senior played a huge role in helping Carson make it all the way to the 5A Northern League semifinals.
