About London

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile six-rotational player, and I demonstrate strong leadership, technical prowess, and an unrelenting drive to succeed. Whether dominating at the net, serving precision, or strategizing plays, I always seek to be a vital contributor to my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a fun-loving and energetic person. I love working with others and helping everyone around me to improve and play to the best of their abilities. For development, I thrive in coaching and playing environments that allow me to learn immediately from my mistakes through helpful tips and strategies along the way. I celebrate our team successes with great pride, and pick them up during trials.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In the classroom, I am on the honor roll, and was recently selected by school administrators for Circle SM, a student leadership group that represents St. Mary’s in school and community events. I am also a member of Service Club, which volunteer support to community organizations. My commitment to both academics and sports reflects my determination to succeed in all areas of life.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to develop balance and self-awareness for how to maintain my commitment to scholarship and service and ensure that I am able to be my best self in volleyball. I have learned how to recognize my limitations, and ensure that I am reliable in my responsibilities. I have also learned to be well-rounded, and have began other creative interests, such as crocheting, to challenge myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

I look forward to attending a college that will enable me to reach my full potential academically and athletically. I plan to major in the sciences in the hopes of joining a profession that combines my passions of athletics and helping people. I am very interested in exploring HBCUs, along with institutions that I believe that I can thrive in.
