How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is focused, adaptable, and team-oriented. I prioritize smart plays, strong communication, and reading the game to anticipate the next move. Whether I’m delivering consistent serves, hustling on defense, or setting up teammates for success, I aim to be a reliable and strategic player who keeps the team energized and connected.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is resilient, competitive, and team-focused. I strive to stay calm under pressure, maintain a positive attitude, and push myself and my teammates to perform at our best. I value communication, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. I’m always looking to learn and improve while supporting the team’s goals.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I actively participate in several organizations, including the Contra Costa Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, the Rolling Hills Chapter of the National Charity League, the Pre-Med Club, and the Black Student Union at Carondelet High School. These groups allow me to give back to my community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my involvement in these organizations, I’ve developed leadership by organizing events and motivating others, teamwork by collaborating effectively in group settings, and a strong commitment to community service. These experiences have shaped me into a service-oriented individual who values connection and growth.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced some challenges when both of my parents experienced health scares. During this time, I focused on being strong and present for them while also supporting my teammates and fulfilling my commitments. Balancing these responsibilities taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of perseverance in difficult situations.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that balances strong academics with competitive athletics. I want a program that supports student-athletes, offering rigorous science courses and research opportunities to prepare for medical school, along with a volleyball team that fosters teamwork, growth, and a winning mindset. A supportive environment where I can excel both on the court and in the classroom.
