Gothenburg came out of nowhere during 2024’s late-season stretch and extended its multi-year postseason streak. Anderson aided this triumph by making a meteoric rise into the Swede spotlight this fall. She appeared in 12 sets as a sophomore but became Gothenburg’s go-to attacker one year later. The physical outside hitter put down over 300 kills while also churning out over two digs per set in the back row. Her strong block touches also provided crucial transition opportunities for the Swede offense. This was especially apparent when Gothenburg upset eventual champion Minden to end the regular season, and Anderson will keep building on that high-level experience.
