Among multiple awards, Gillispie (*pictured) was a 1st team all-league selection in the Miami Valley Scarlet division as SCD finished 17-8 overall, advancing a few rounds in postseason action. She was among the top 15 offensively in conference play with 2.2 k/s. Gillispie has been one that has been fun to watch the past few seasons given her energy and action for OPVC as a middle. She is athletic and active as her physical tools are noticeable with her quickness and elevation. She has polished her game up in recent seasons as she gets off the floor fast and can get the ball to the court with a quick arm around her setter. Gillispie will be a nice pick-up for the next leve.

Schmitt was a GGCL all-conference honorable mention selection as she was a key part of the Falcons and their run to a runner-up state finish in Division V. She had nine kills and four digs in the final match, which was on her career average of 2.1 k/s as she earned 533 total kills during her time with Fenwick. She can bring a big arm at the end of her approach work with the ability to swing for points equally well from both sides of the court.

An ECC 2nd team all-league selection, Burton finished her varsity career for Milford with nearly 1,150 total assists over the past two seasons. With a career best 8.4 a/s average, she also was great defensively with over 10 digs per match go along with 1.5 b/m. At 5'11, she controls her offense well with high hand contact and consistent tempo and location in all directions. The Eagles finished 15-10 overall and averaged 11.0 k/s with Burton running the show. Look for with [program_tooltip program_id='507899' first='Cincinnati' last='Volleyball Academy'] in the coming months.

With just over 200 total kills during the recent high school season, Williams had a career best offensive output of 2.7 k/s on a .308 efficiency, also a career best. Competing for AVC 18 White this club season, Williams has six-rotation tools with good size and natural power coming off her arm upon contact. She can swing from both sides of the court with the ability to make an impact on the defensive side at the net and out of the back row.

Syverson is an interesting prospect to keep an eye on. She has next-level size and athleticism as she has length and can jump well. She has continued to grow her skills, primarily at the pins last season for Rogue, which could make her a fun development opportunity for a team that has some space and time to help her improve her mechanics. She has shown big ability when on time with the set tempo to be able to maximize her contact point and get a healthy contact and swing. Look for her again with Rogue's top team at the 18U level as they start tournament play mid-January at WinterFest in Columbus.
