About Addison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love being out on the court with my teammates! I love bringing the energy to help my teammates push through for the win! Energy wins games.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a competitive person. I push myself off the court to make sure I am able to help my team on the court to be successful. I want others around me to push me to be better as well.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play JO club for RP volleyball. I love playing with my school teammates in JO so when season comes, we are comfortable with each other and trust each other on the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being the youngest on the team for the last couple years, I have had the opportunity to watch and learn from my older teammates. I enjoy working with the youth volleyball and basketball programs at our school as a leader and to show the younger girls how great these sports are!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

It’s tough being the youngest player. Being brought up young is a great privilege but also a great challenge. Having to continue to show everyone you deserve to be there as well as taking the heat when things don’t go the right way. It’s a great learning experience and it has taught me some great life lessons about acceptance, humility, and work ethic.

What type of college are you looking for?

Shoot for the stars! I love Texas, Miami, Oregon, and Arizona. I have loved watching those programs play!

Drinkall was consistent in keeping space between her platform and her body, and she was always communicating with those around her. She does a great job cushioning a hard-driven serve to keep it on her side of the net. Drinkall is confident and relaxed in the back row which helps her read hitters and pick up a lot in coverage.
