About Emma

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Focused, driven but still likes to have fun. Always moving. Can move the ball around on the court. Can share the ball if need help. Fundamental. Has good game play knowledge. Not afraid to go for any kind of ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am always focused and don’t let people or things that happen get into my head. I will have fun on the court. I am open with my thoughts. Aware of things going on. Not afraid of a challenge. Will talk to people and keep them excited and going.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in FFA ( Future Farmers of America). I have received an award for member of the month from FFA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to be more open about my thoughts and be able to talk to people more whether they are strangers or not. If I have to do a team project I will always let the others do something to whether they want to or not.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had to learn to be more talkative in order for my team to thrive. I have Epilepsy since I was 13. So I am on a specific schedule and have to take quite a few medications. One of which made me over heat and have kidney stones so I had to watch myself twice as much be more cautious of conditioning and running. I also had to take a few days off until the kidney stones were gone.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am mostly looking for a college that has all the basics for the Animal Science due to me wanting to become a Veterinarian. I also want a college that has a good college volleyball team.
