<p class="text-gray-700">Frommeyer (pictured) filled in a big role for the Mustangs and helped carry them back to the 10th Region Tournament two years after winning it. Frommeyer hustles hard after balls on every play. She squares her arms up well with passes and does a tremendous job reading opposing hitters and picking up on tendencies. Frommeyer had a team-high 445 digs to go with 67 assists consistently making things happen out of system to help Brossart go 26-12, win another 10th Region All "A" title and drive all the way to the 10th Region title game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Larsen burst onto the scene and made a sound impact defensively for the Devils this past fall. Larsen squares her body up and makes sound first passes on serve receive and spike attempts. Larsen makes big digs falling to her sides. Larsen made 177 digs helping Owensboro go 24-15 and win the first 3rd Region championship in school history this past fall.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Pate does a great job tracking down balls all over the court for the E-gals. Pate constantly moves her feet and anticipating where balls are going. Pate does a great job with net coverage. Pate also sends across a sound spinning serve. Pate had 458 digs and 93 aces, helping Apollo go a region-best 28-7 on the season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Caldwell stepped in and helped the Lions form a sound defense that recorded 2,268 digs on the season. Caldwell does a nice job communicating with her teammates and stepping into balls. She's also not afraid to take swings out of system. Caldwell had 189 digs this past season, helping Pineville go 25-13 and win a second straight 51st District championship.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Williamson does a wonderful job seeing balls then going hard after them. She'll get on her knees to square up passes if she has to. Williamson sends free balls across the net with a purpose. Williamson had 407 digs helping the Bears go 26-7, win the 52nd District crown and drive to the 13th Region semifinals. </p>
