Attacking Day One of the Resolution

The 15's division was all the buzz this morning as the second weekend of the Prep Dig Resolution was underway. One thing in particular was the electric attackers that were jumping out of the gym and putting point on the board for their teams. Let's take a look at some of Day 1's heavy hitters.    Bytnar wasn't holding back today and we saw her take a lot of hard swings from the left side pin. She pulled my attention to her court for a little longer to see what else she had. I was impressed with her strength, hand contact and placement of her attack which seemed to go exactly where the other team was not. I could see her being a versatile attacker on either pin to expand her team's options.     It was hard not to notice Head because her presence at the net was commanding. She is a beast at the net and she does a great job getting on top of the ball. Head is dynamic and makes a big impact on the game when she is in because she is swinging with such a heavy arm.     Hendrickson is really active at the net and it pays off during the longer rallies. She is resourceful on offense and has good timing on her block. Hendrickson has good footwork and plays with intensity at the net which can serve as a gamechanger for her squad.     [player_tooltip player_id='522880' first='Kendall' last=''] is a stud on the right side because she has so much power and she will unleash it whenever she has the opportunity. She has a lot of length and takes up a lot of space at the net making her a formidable blocker. [player_tooltip player_id='522880' first='Kendall' last=''] presses and limits her opponents ability to attack efficiently.     Liebergen is one that you will want to keep tabs on in the near future. She is really athletic and lengthy with a huge upside to her game. Liebergen gets in the air quickly and she is really built for this sport with fast footwork and a speedy swing.     Maus was taking some really solid swings on the ball to score a lot of points in big moments today. She makes a really smart shot selection and will even use a high reach to cut the ball to the 4. I've now seen Maus make a big impact from the middle and from the left pin and I have no doubt she could be impactful on the right side as well.     Reinhard demonstrated her ability to hit a really nice deep 5 corner swing in just the right moments. She was explosive in her approach and her long arms helped her achieve a high contact point to work over the block. She was athletic and efficient at the net as a blocker.     Whitrock was using a number of tools for attacking. She would pull the tip to 4 and mix it up with swings to the deep corners. On the defensive side, Whitrock was presenting a huge block to challenge her opponents and force errors.
