About Kayla
Expert Analysis
Hayden Weber | Prep Dig Scout
Myers runs a 6-2 and swings out of the front row. Though she is not the tallest front row player, she has a high vertical and does a great job at tooling the block. She also does a pretty good job at recycling the ball into the block if the set isn’t completely there. Being a lefty, blockers often times have a hard time blocking left handed attackers, especially for the rotation in serve receive where she swings on the outside pin.

Myers has a very strong arm that made it difficult for the 15.1’s to defend. Myers had to the power to swing right through the block, scoring many points by tooling the block. Going up against blockers who were quite taller than her, Myers was very good at adjusting and swinging around the block. Myers consistently is good at swinging between the seams, and is a huge reason her team was able to win the first set.
