i am a natural leader on the court and i always like to keep my team in a good mood while they’re playing. I am also very versatile and i can play almost anywhere on the court

during nationals a few years ago our only setter burst her appendix on the second day and was hospitalized. I had never set before in my life but my coach chose me to step up and set for our team and my team was able to rely on me

Wichern is a really promising prospect, as she can play setter and play anywhere along the net. With her length, that kind of versatility and agility are going to be tough for opponents to handle. Wichern has a keen eye for where a play is developing, but also the aggressive edge to finish off a point when the opportunity is there. There’s really no limit to where she can take her game these next three years.
