<p>All eyes in the Texas club volleyball scene were on Austin this past weekend as the capital of the state hosted the second stop of the Tour of Texas, which reunited the best teams in the Lone Star State.</p>

<p>Club tournaments continued to happen all across Texas, though, and Houston had one of them, in the H-Town Showdown #2. The event featured 64 teams in the 16s, 17s and 18s age groups and was held at the FAST Complex on Saturday, February 2.</p>

<p>Prep Dig Texas was on site on Saturday morning, covering the top eight teams in the 16s division, which competed in Bracket A. We're featuring some of the top players we saw in action over the week and today it's time we highlight the liberos.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Mucha was part of the [program_tooltip program_id='431337' first='Texas' last='Tornados'] 16 Adidas team that dominated the event, finishing at the top of the standings with three victories and no sets dropped. One of the most technical players in the team, she led their back row with tremendous efficiency and kept the Tornados in system during the day. Mucha also stood out on defense, combining impressive reflexes and superior ball control to perform amazing digs. The libero also served extremely well and was very precise when she had to set in transition plays.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Durant played for the [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] 16 White team that finished in second place with two wins and one loss. A libero with great length, she had impressive range on defense and was very consistent with her passing. Durant used her ability to read plays to always be one step ahead and simplify what could be difficult actions. She was also very aggressive with her serving and consistently got opponents out of system.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Legendre was the libero for the HJV 16 Molten team that ranked fourth with one win and two losses. A very quick and agile defender, she covered a lot of ground on the back row and made some impressive one-handed digs. Legendre also showed superior ball control and great hustle to chase shanked passes or digs. The libero also served well and hand set with great confidence from the back row.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Hutchinson appeared for the MoCo Jrs 16 Molten team that finished seventh with one win and two losses. She was among the team's most influential players, displaying impressive solidness and efficiency in the back row. Hutchinson was extremely reliable with her passing and covered a lot of ground in serve-receive. The libero also showed excellent ball control, performing great digs and setting well, and was very dangerous from the service line with a tough floater.</p>
