<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The city of Austin will continue on the spotlight in the club volleyball scene in the state of Texas for another week as after hosting the second stop of the Tour of Texas, the state's capital is set to welcome another major event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Between Saturday and Sunday, the Austin Convention Center will host the 2025 ATX Showcase, a massive club tournament featuring over 400 teams, which will be spread across 17 divisions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Players from every corner of the Lone Star State will make the trip to the Capital City and among them are some really exciting prospects. An outside hitter with an extremely consistent and efficient offensive game, she became the team's go-to scoring option immediately after joining from the [program_tooltip program_id='431254' first='San' last='Antonio Juniors'] at the start of the season. Planchet has great length and a heavy right arm, but the main reason for her offense to be so productive is her ability to switch gears and diversify up at the net. With a great mix of technical and athletic skills, she's one of the team's cornerstones, appearing very well on both sides of the ball. LeJeune has excellent ball control and plays a major role in the team's passing system, besides coming up with impressive digs. Offensively, while she might not be the tallest pin hitter out there, she can swing as hard as anyone and consistently puts the ball down, even in out-of-system plays. A technical outside hitter, she has the intelligence and the vision to find solutions to any sets at the net, scoring at a high rate even in out-of-system plays and making very few errors. Her twin sister Allison sets for the team and the two have a great connection, working extremely well together offensively.
