About Andi

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

When it comes to volleyball, I love to work as hard as I can to get better. Anytime I have free time away from everything I love to work on my skills in my yard. I like to learn new things and work on them till I get them right.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Leopold Gang, it's a 4h club. And at school I am involved in commodore crew, most Fridays we all meet and pick out the themes for games. We even get to organize each event that happens when we have pep sessions.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Anytime I notice that someone on the court is feeling down I like to try to remind them that it’s okay, and that it was only one mistake that doesn’t determine their whole worth as a player.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Recently during club I have been switched during a DS not knowing anything about it, I took the challenge and have been working on passing ever since. This has not changed my love for volleyball although there has been times it made me feel down, I have been able to use this and be created into a better player

What type of college are you looking for?

The type of college that I am looking for is one that is very welcoming and will not judge based off of a first look. Mental is a big thing for me and I would like to go to a college that supports everyone mentally and physically!
