Breaking Down the New Additions to the 2025 Rank

Numerous new additions to the 2025 ranking brought a wealth of experience to the court. I saw some of them play as recently as last weekend at the Champions Cup. Let's dive into some of the new additions to the 2025 ranking update!    Alyssa is such an impressive athlete. She plays all six rotations as a middle for Heat and is absolutely electric on the court. She has a powerhouse swing and seems to know exactly where she is placing the ball, even on her biggest rips. She also puts up a brick wall of a block and has an incredibly high volleyball IQ. Alyssa has been a watchlist player and is now ranked #76 in the class. She is the type of player who leads her team and makes a consistent impact from the first point to the last.     Ashlin is an athlete with a huge arm and the potential to be an impact 6-rotation pin. She can be relied upon to earn points in the biggest moments—getting the kill that earned her team a spot in the championship and championship point at the Champions Cup. She is incredibly competitive and never backs down on a play. Her volleyball IQ is high and she can attack efficiently from anywhere across the net.     Kaitlin is aggressive and fearless as a hitter. She isn't afraid to take big swings on out-of-system balls or imperfect sets, even if she doesn't get the best approach. This almost always works in her favor. She has great court awareness, especially her relationship to the net in order to make the aggressive plays. Kaitlin moved to the ranking from the watchlist in this update.     Kaylie is a high-flying pin with a big arm. She is aggressive and brings both confidence and consistency to the pin. She balances the role as a leader and point earner very well and is a great all-around athlete. Her ability to read the game and make adjustments makes her even more lethal on offense. Kayle jumped from the watchlist to #151 in the ranks.     Maren is a player who went from the rank to the top 50. She is a UW-Milwaukee commit with a lot to offer. On the right side, she is aggressive and has a very high ceiling. She is talented at swinging high hands and can see the block in front of her. When she has a great set, she can confidently swing through or around the block. Maren will be a great addition to an already talented UW-Milwaukee squad.     Sidney is a highly talented setter, making her name known on [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 18 Navy. She runs the offense cleanly and efficiently while always keeping an eye out for a new edge for her team. Sidney is a well-rounded, talented athlete on defense and from the service line. She balances her offense well and is an all-around solid athlete on the court.     Garcie is a lethal pin hitter who has a heavy hand on the ball and can play all six rotations. Her pass to attack is quick and efficient, and she is a reliable teammate in the front and back row. Her ability to terminate in long rallies sets her apart, and it will be fun to watch her take her skills to the next level.     Ella is a clean setter with a great touch on the ball. She is a huge energizer on the court and is always ready to feed her hot hitter. She never misses a beat and always pushes herself to the next level. Her defense initially stood out to me the most, but her setting quickly followed in catching my eye.
