How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a high-energy, smart, adaptable player who thrives under pressure. As a Setter/RS, I focus on quick decision-making, precise execution, and keeping my team in rhythm. I hustle for every ball, communicate constantly, and stay mentally tough, no matter the score. My goal is to make the smartest play possible or making a key defensive move to keep the play alive.

Fun, driven, passionate yet playful when needed, focused, supportive, creative, quick and agile.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I am currently in Animal Rights Club (focused on providing enrichment for sheltered pets in need), Pretty Brown Girls (empowering women of color and building community)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing volleyball has helped me develop strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. As a Setter/RS, I’ve learned how to read the game, support my teammates, and keep energy high on the court. I take pride in being a leader—whether it’s setting up plays, motivating my team, or staying composed under pressure. VB has also taught me the value of discipline, resilience, and hard work.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes. In a prior season, I experienced a coach who devalued our potential (myself and my teammates) and was mentally degrading. Although it was a tough season, it pushed me to only want to prove her wrong. I ended up becoming such a great player and in the long run, incredibly mentally resilient.
