About Chloé

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I tend to be excited before each game no matter how difficult or easy the team is, I don't think about it in that sense I look at it as a game where we fight for every point. I attempt to read the court during the game and look at the teams we play before hand on their highlights to see what shots are open to take.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is to do well and to do better each game and point. On the court, I am locked into the game making sure to pay attention to the other teams game play. When we win points, I will always become a cheerleader and cheer my team on, but, when necessary I will also be locked in and pay attention to what coach is saying and what is going on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In school, I love being a part of my schools AFS club where we learn about different cultures and make fun displays for the whole school to see. This means a lot since it's my freshman year and my sister is president of the club. I love sharing my culture to others and hear about other people cultures too.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my career, I have started to develop leadership on the court and attempt to help out the team when we make mistakes. When I see someone struggling with something and coach doesn't notice, I step in and try to make them feel better about themselves. As the captain on my team, I think it is useful for me to show care to my teammates and support at all times.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, mentality during the game is ruff especially on off days but I try not to show it off in which I work daily on this. Not showing emotion on the court was and is difficult for me to control but during this season, it has improved so much. Also, others saying this woke me. This was hard to be told especially when i'm one of the youngest on my team but also expected because of my captains role.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking into any colleges, I am open to big and small schools with good education and programs. I am yet to know what I am wanting to do when I am older but as an athlete I am flexible with my position and whatever a team needs, I can help with and try my absolute best.
