Michigan Elite 15 Mizuno made quick work of its competition at last weekend's Motor City Madness, taking home the 15 Open title in impressive fashion.

Not only did the squad go 5-0 in matches, but 10-0 in sets while not allowing an opponent to get past 20 points in a single set.

[player_tooltip player_id='644142' first='Ava' last='Kiernan'], S/RS

Kiernan is a dynamic setter/hitter combo player that brings a lot of intangibles to the floor. The 6'1” Kiernan makes some challenging and athletic sets and has a great feel for the pacing her team needs to succeed. As a hitter, Kiernan has a long reach that allows her to work over blockers and come down over the ball at a sharp angle.

[player_tooltip player_id='587016' first='Lilly' last='Bowman'], OH

Bowman was picking up dozens of kills throughout the weekend. She has a lot of good momentum toward the net and puts consistent power on the ball to make it a challenge for opponents to dig up her ball. Bowman saw the court really well and never put the ball in the same spot twice.

[player_tooltip player_id='569774' first='London' last='Gibson'], MH

Gibson is a middle with a really high ceiling. The 6-footer has great explosiveness and can deliver an undiggable attack when she gets great timing with her setters. Gibson is very light on her feet and can hang in the air for seconds. As her footwork and intensity continue to grow, she looks like she can be a dominant middle.

[player_tooltip player_id='644157' first='Addison' last='Bultynck'], OH

Bultynck did a good job of being composed in her swings. She made the most out of the out-of-system balls and consistently put good velocity on her attacks. Bultynck moved well around the court to set herself up for success both on offense and defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='587006' first='Hope' last='Purwadihardja'], L

Purwadihardja sported the libero jersey and did a great job of being consistent in the back row to keep her offense in-system. She moved with intent and wasn't caught off guard in many instances on the weekend. Purwadihardja also brought a strong serve to the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='644166' first='Ella' last='Foltz'], S/DS

Foltz was a great utility option, as she was able to make an impact with her setting, her passing and her serving. She was all over the court, making a timely play in all phases of the game. Her serve was particularly strong, as she racked up a large number of aces on the weekend.
