But, it's always good to try and find the ones that are standing out early in their high school and club careers.

The Class of 2028 has some impressive setters that look to be playing at a high level already. Here's four that are standing out so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='579822' first='Addison' last='Dresch'], Dexter/Legacy

Dresch is a nimble setter that brings a lot to the court outside of just running the offense. While her delivery and accuracy is at a high level, her defensive play is a real standout as well. She's able to make quick reactions to keep the ball in play and give her team a chance to put the point away. Dresch also has a tough serve that can shift momentum.

[player_tooltip player_id='644142' first='Ava' last='Kiernan'], South Lyon East/Michigan Elite

Kiernan is a setter/hitter combo player standing 6'1”. She's got the athleticism and agility to excel at both positions. She can play well above the net as a hitter and pushes the tempo as a setter, able to make really quick connections with her middles and give her outsides a great ball to attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='526553' first='Liv' last='Wender'], Lowell/Legacy

Wender is a really scrappy player that can play multiple positions, but has really stepped up her play as a setter in the last year. She's got great touch and makes her sets look relatively effortless. She also pushes herself to make challenging defensive plays, and has the ability to turn on the ball herself. Wender is proving to be a viable commodity because of her vast skillset.

[player_tooltip player_id='574175' first='Payton' last='Woodruff'], Country Day/Legacy

Woodruff has looked impressive in every role she has stepped into thus far. She led Country Day to its first state title, and has had her Legacy club team among the best in the nation. Her leadership skills are far ahead of her age and she plays with a lot of confidence and makes definitive decisions despite pushing a fast pace.
