In a talented Class of 2027, Southwest Michigan isn't lacking in key members.

The area is chalk full of promising players that could emerge as the state's best.

Here's Part 2 of a 2-part look at Southwest Michigan's impressive 2027 talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='513265' first='Anna' last='Overway'], OH Plainwell/Dead Frog

Overway is an outside on the rise, as she's putting in a lot of work to raise her game. Her finishing rate is getting stronger each month and you're seeing more intensity and consistency in her swings. Defensively, Overway is looking polished and doing a good job of being able to take on a key dig, then transitioning to attack quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='493481' first='Camille' last='Robinson'], OH Harper Creek/FaR Out

Robinson plays with a lot of intensity and brings a lot of energy to the floor. She's also an explosive hitter, and when she lands her big shots, it sends a bolt throughout her whole team. Robinson is putting in the work to become a better defender, but she's already got her offensive ability at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='523844' first='Irelynn' last='Sedore'], OH Pennfield/FaR Out

Sedore is a well-rounded player that has a lot of quickness and stays light on the court. She's able to make a wide variety of swings thanks to ability to cover ground in a timely fashion. Defensively, Sedore stays low to the ground and anticipates opposing attacks well. She's also got a potent serve that can swing momentum.

[player_tooltip player_id='699957' first='Brynn' last='Swetz'], MB/RS Vicksburg/Dead Frog

Swetz is showing a lot of promise, as she's got a lot of lift off the floor for a 6-foot middle. Her slide attacks are getting better and better, and sometimes she's playing above the ball because she's getting so much power off the floor. As setters catch up to her speed, it should allow Swetz to become a dominant force in the middle.

[player_tooltip player_id='523415' first='Peyton' last='Tarmnel'], MB Marshall/MSF Flight

Tarmnel brings some size to the Marshall program at 6'1”. Her length can make a difference, as she's a hard block to power through. The key for her going forward is growing more comfortable and confident as the pace of play picks up. She's got the athleticism to got at a faster speed, and as she is able to play on instincts more often, it should lead to big growth in her development.

[player_tooltip player_id='442228' first='Avery' last='Thorp'], MB Plainwell/FaR Out

At 6'2” Thorp can make a big impact with her offensive play and her defensive play. Her length and timing allow her to be one of the stronger blockers in the class, but her offensive skills are making big strides each month. Thorp shows a lot of good footwork and her court vision is another strength.
