She is currently working on improving her passing and first contact by being intentional with every rep and training both indoors and on the sand six days a week. Her goals this season include increasing her vertical, placement, and power while becoming a true impact player for her club team at nationals. Emerson’s volleyball journey is unique, as she transitioned from NPL soccer to elite volleyball just last year after being recruited through competitive sand play. Since committing fully to the sport, she has progressed rapidly, earning all-league first team honors, serving as a team captain, and helping lead an undefeated high school league season.
