About Norah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

During games I try to think like the opposing team, think ahead and play smart. I try to read the hitters weather i’m blocking or defending in the back row and react as fast as i can.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality during a game is “Next ball” mind set. Which for me means if I shank a pass I tell me self I will get the next one, or if when I go to swing and I don’t get the kill I will try to scout out a better placement for the ball. Being on the court means everyone out there is a team and as a team we need to build each other up and not beat each other down.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was awarded for Honors Society and I am a link leader for my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being an under class-men on an upper class-men team my sophomore year meant I needed to speak out what I thought and make sure people heard what I was saying. That made me be a better leader and role model for my teammates.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college with a good nursing program, preferably not in a huge city. Later in life I want to possibly become a PA.
