About Taylor

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Being a setter, I have high communication on the court, and I like to utilize all of my hitters both in front and back to further enhance the skill level of the game and throw the other team off. I vary where I put the ball every play and have trust in all of my teammates that they can put the ball down. I am very much a team player and my passion for the game is indescribable.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality, not only on the court is to always push forward and don’t let your mistakes define you. I’m aware that you’re going to make mistakes, but it’s how you overcome those mistakes and I don’t let them represent who I am. i’m very open to seeing new points of views and fully understanding a new point of view on the game because there’s always more than one way to look at things.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in all honors classes at my high school and I am currently involved in two clubs FCCLA and HOSA. I have received all honors rewards, academics all district awards, and many awards for my achievements in FCCLA. (1x Regional Champ, 1x state champ, National qualifier.)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

What type of college are you looking for?

In a college,I’m looking to better enhance my skills as a player and play at high competition levels of volleyball. not only that, but I’m looking for a college that has better opportunities for my academics as after college ball. I’m looking for a sense of home both on and off the court. Overall, My main priority is a college where I can further extend my volleyball and academic careers.
