About Mckinley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a setter but can also be a DS. I like to keep a fast pace tempo of play. Lots of communication, verbal and nonverbal..

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very zoned in player very serious but yet for the most part keep a very uplifting positive attitude. As a setter I play a very important roll . I really believe in showing leadership and positivity.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been involved in Club Volleyball for 4 years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I truly do believe I have developed a good hard work ethics. As a setter, I’ve had to develop a good sense of leadership and communication.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I think the biggest challenge is that I have faced so far has been not being so tough on myself. Not everything is always going to go as planned and just to stay positive and push through the ups and the downs.

What type of college are you looking for?

Well I would love to be accepted to a D1 college. But that’s not how it always goes and I understand that. I would absolutely just love to continue playing collegially even if it’s a D2 or D3 school. I love Volleyball. I just wanna keep it part of my life.
