Fischer hit a career high last night as she celebrated her 1,000 career kill, and with the skill that she demonstrates on the court, it is not surprising. Fisher has a high, hard, and deep swing that is difficult to defend. She approaches quickly to the ball and finds an empty place to put it down. Her communication and positivity on the court help propel her team forward for every point. She is a dedicated blocker and accumulates many stops throughout sets. Defensively she is always ready to play a freeball, tip, downball, or serve. Fischer’s platform control and footwork help enforce a controlled play to run a fast offense.
